Discount period closes and online entries open
15 August 2010
The period to take advantage of the 25 percent discount on entry fees for this year's Jailbreak event
in December has now closed. Athletes who did enter via this option, but who have not yet received confirmation of their entry are asked to be patient as our offices process the entry forms received.
Following a slow start in the take-up of the offer, we have been inundated with entry forms over the
last two days and require a little time to process the forms.
For those who still wish to enter Jailbreak, please be advised that online entries are now open
on www.entrytime.co.za.
Entrants from 2009 event qualify for 25% discount in 2010
15 July 2010
Athletes who were disappointed by the cancellation of last year's cycle leg of the triathlon will this year
be able to benefit from a 25 percent discount if they enter between 15th July and 15th August. To qualify
for this discount, athletes must download the discounted entry form and fax it to our offices along with
proof of payment before the 15th August.
Please note that any athlete trying to take advantage of the discounted entry that did not enter the
2009 race, will have their entry rejected and will be liable for any bank charges and adminstration fees
involved in refunding their monies.
Normal entries will be open on www.entrytime.co.za from 15th August 2010.
Jailbreak returns to Brandvlei Prison for 5th anniversary event
1 July 2010
Jailbreak, Cape Town's premier endurance triathlon, will return to its birthplace at Brandvlei Prison in
Worcester to celebrate its fifth anniversary on December 18 and 19 this year.
"We are excited and pleased to be back at the Brandvlei Prison this year. The venue and facilities
offered are by far the most ideal for triathlon in the Western Cape and we look forward to working
with the prison authorities to bring triathletes the best Jailbreak triathlon in the history of the event,"
says Colleen Jacka of Tri & Du Sport, organisers of the event.
